Geo Transfer Driver App Policies

These Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy govern the use of the Geo Transfer Driver App (the "App"), operated by Geo Tourism Pvt Ltd, Sri Lanka. By registering with or using the App, you agree to comply with these policies and all applicable laws of Sri Lanka.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Legal Framework and Compliance

The App operates in accordance with:

The Motor Traffic Act (Sri Lanka) and related regulations
The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) Act and guidelines
Applicable consumer protection, electronic transactions, and data protection laws of Sri Lanka

Only SLTDA-registered drivers and licensed Chauffeur Guides are eligible to register and operate on the App.

2. Use of the App

The App functions solely as a digital marketplace connecting registered drivers with passengers.
Registration is subject to verification and approval by Geo Tourism Pvt Ltd.
Drivers must submit true, accurate, and current information including valid SLTDA license, driving license, and roadworthy vehicle details.
Geo Tourism Pvt Ltd reserves the right to approve, reject, or revoke access at its sole discretion.

3. Driver Eligibility & Responsibilities

Hold a valid SLTDA registration (Driver or Chauffeur Guide category).
Comply with all provisions of the Motor Traffic Act.
Maintain valid vehicle insurance, revenue license, and emission certificate.
Conduct themselves professionally and not operate under alcohol or drugs.
Operate as independent service providers, not employees or agents of Geo Tourism Pvt Ltd.

4. Payments and Commission

Passengers pay drivers directly for completed trips.
Drivers agree to pay an agreed commission per completed booking.
SLTDA-licensed drivers may qualify for preferential commission rates.
Commissions must be deposited within 14 days of trip completion.
Failure to remit commissions may result in suspension or termination.

5. Cancellations, Conduct & Disputes

Drivers must avoid unjustified or last-minute cancellations.
Repeated misconduct or complaints may result in penalties.
Geo Tourism Pvt Ltd may mediate disputes and its decision is final.
Trip volume or earnings are not guaranteed.

6. Suspension or Termination

Geo Tourism Pvt Ltd may suspend or terminate accounts for legal violations, false documents, unsafe driving, unpaid commissions, or breach of these terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

Geo Tourism Pvt Ltd acts only as a technology platform and is not liable for accidents, damages, legal violations, or disputes. Drivers bear full legal responsibility for services provided.

PRIVACY POLICY

Personal, professional, vehicle, and usage data are collected to verify compliance, facilitate bookings, maintain records, and improve platform safety. Data may be shared with passengers, payment providers, or authorities when legally required.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds apply only to duplicate or erroneous commission payments. Requests must be made within 3 days. Geo Tourism Pvt Ltd retains final authority over refund approvals.
